Hands-On Experience
I have discovered over time there is more than one tool to use to implement your design. Over the course of my career, I endeavored to use many Patternmaking software, and 3D software to completely understand the digital fashion workflow and its need for the production of real-life garments. Mostly self-taught I took the time to prepare for the ultimate career goal.
Software Certification
Starting in 2016 I pursued and completed the goal to learn, Optitex 2D/ 3D, CLO3D, and Browzwear, and have full proficiency. Later learning about 3rd party software used to enhance 3d, I developed a path to self-teaching, Blender, Cinema4D and Substance Designer, and Painter. The most recent certification is in Shima Seiki Whole Knit Garment making.
Management and 3D Implementation
On my Fashion Design journey, management of assets was always key even before digital. I am fully aware of how assets are needed to simplify the design workflow, Asset naming, location, and accessibility make design life easier. Storage is key in the digital world as designers often need to remember past designs, and assets and retrieve them quickly.
Creative Endeavors
All work and no play leads to a dull sword. I have always been creative and now I purposely allow myself to have personal creative endeavors. Hands-on projects like home decor with my mom, Crochet and knitting practice, just to name a few. Gardening and cooking have also allowed me to feel the connection and creative empowerment I yearn for.

The Future of Fashion
“3D is here to stay. It is not the journey it is the destination that matters. The future of Fashion is now”
